The first advert the airline one is a British airways advert for the London 2012 Olympics. In this advert it starts in a plane that is getting ready for take off but instead it starts to drive out of the airport and drives done the roads of London. During the advert you see many of the sights of London through the windows of the plane or from the outside where you can see the plane next to the monument itself. One part you see the plane next to big Ben. This advert worked to both support team GB in the Olympics but also British airways. Every time the advert showed the whole plane you could see the words British airways on the side. The advert also showed the people who worked on the plane helping people at the beginning with their bags but then also again near the end when they were letting the people off the plane. At the end of the advert it says in big bold writing don't fly support team GB. Which for an airline advert is quiet surprising considering normally they would be trying to get people to fly with them, but in this one they are saying don't fly stay in Britain. The reasoning behind showing the sights of London is to show what great things there are to see in London, as well as saying that instead of going on Holiday to other places during the Olympics you should stay in Britain and support team GB
The second advert is a Toyota car advert. The advert was filmed in Scotland next to loch ness. The advert starts with a runner running down a road he starts to slow down and stops. He then walks towards a Toyota car that is parked next to loch ness. He walks up to the car and goes to open the door as he touches the door the car falls over because it is a card board cut out of a real Toyota car. After the car has fallen over a tentacle comes out from the water, followed by lots more one of them grabs the man and drags him into the water to the loch ness monster. Another tentacle then comes out of the ground and stands the cut out back up. This employs that the monster has grown smart and is using a cut out of a irresistible car to attract people in then once they have touched the car it gets them. This advert of cause plays on the myth of the Loch ness monster
